What is the My Centre Series?
The My Centre Series is a project that our digital reads house is taking on in order to publish real stories, from real people.
When I developed TEAGAL Lifestyle the mission remained the same, through the niche changes, the contemplating, the blog to online business; I wanted to provide the tools to help people become the best version of themselves. I wanted to ensure that my readers, listeners, clients and subscribers were given new learning when it came to becoming their authentic, passionate and loving self.
When we live in a world where we are used to hiding away our true personality, our purpose and our passions; we are living in an environment that does not allow us to be ourselves; our digital reads house provides a space where everyone can find a tool to help them become their authentic self and open up the doors of realization, the My Centre Series is another addition to that family.
When readers open their eReaders, tablets, computers or phones, they will be absorbed in a world full of real stories, real situations, real conflicts and real breakthroughs from the people in our TEAGAL Lifestyle community. From Canada to Australia, and all the continents and countries in between, we reach a vast audience, with deep possibilities.
This eBook series will have those stories, poems and art pieces that will inspire us, invoke emotion and open up our minds to possibility.

Why did I start the My Centre series?
I used to be a reader of fiction and fiction only. Growing up my bookshelves were filled with fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and horror. When asked to read non-fiction in school, Spark Notes were my best friend (sorry to all of my high school teachers reading this). I would try, but I couldn’t focus on the content long enough to remember what happened or what was said. However, the only non-fiction books that seemed to spark an interest for me, where I could sit and read for hours were books that consisted of stories, written by real people with real experiences. Stories that I could really learn from.
Fast-forward into adulthood and my favourite kind of non-fiction are the books written about someone’s life, a memoir, a biography or a compilation of stories written by real people. These books invoke inspiration, they motivate me and sometimes they downright make me cry.
I have gained so much from these stories, I have learned how to become a better version of myself and how to go after my goals. They helped me understand that failure is a part of the success and not be the person who gives up on the dig right before they would have reached the gems.
In one aspect, these books changed my life; a series of authors, a series of stories, and I am still here, making the life I want… happen. I am still here finding my happiness and keeping it that way.
I wanted to start the My Centre Series to invoke the same feelings in others. To help others in their journey by providing the stories to inspire, motivate and change one’s mindset.
This project is community-based, it’s not a tool that I can create on my own, but a tool that needs our community; and that is what makes it all the more special.
