My First Webinar

Observations:

Your stomach is knotted when the clock is ticking down to go live, and then you finally muster up the courage to press that ‘Go Live’ button… it’s time.

But…

You wait…

You wait for the people to start coming in, so the first minute of the video is you waiting…

I didn’t even think about the fact that after I finish the webinar the video goes onto YouTube. So you-tubers … I’m sorry.. you have me taking random pauses at the beginning until it finally clicks that I’m recording a video, not just talking on Zoom πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

You start to feel a little discouraged at first, I’m not going lie. Because the numbers aren’t as high as you had hoped; however, by the time I went into the description to add the webinar “freebie”, the views had quadrupled (I say it like that because the numbers still aren’t high πŸ™„πŸ˜‚). So people were logging on after and watching the video from the beginning, this allowed my discouragement to fade away a little bit.

Affirmations:

I’m new. I just started turning this blog into an online business a month ago. That is when I really got serious about it. I already doubled my Instagram followers from what it was (it is still a very small number so please … follow me πŸ™„) and having just a handful of people watching my webinar, that’s pretty good.

I presented some great content. I may have paused and stumbled over my words a little bit, but it was my first webinar. I presented the information, I added the freebie in the description, I did everything I was supposed to do. Next time I will be one step more experienced. For my first webinar, it wasn’t half bad.

Will I do another Webinar one day?

I think so. I just need a bit more support from my followers to participate… so don’t forget to follow me on Social Media πŸ˜‰

No doubt it is a little intimidating at the start but so empowering at the same time tooπŸ˜„
    Keep it up!😊

    1. It felt even more nervous than public speaking, but with practice, the experience will grow. Thank you for your lovely comment πŸ™‚
