Dear Struggling Woman,

You are not alone.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I know you. I know you have stretch marks. Your war wounds, the stripes that tell a story of the amazing journey your body has been on. But that no one understands.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I see you. I see you looking in the mirror, hand on your ribs, turning side to side, trying to see if you look thinner. Then you change into a pair of leggings, baggy shirt and carry on with your day.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I feel you. I feel the tears rushing down your cheeks, only 1 pound lost after 30 days of hard work and you just want to give up.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I hear you. I hear the silent whispers of guilt that consume you daily. How people put it in your head that selfishness is taking care of yourself, so you don’t, and it breaks you that much more.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I hold you. I hold you trying not to let go, so you can see the toxic relationships in your life, but you just can’t say no.

Dear Struggling Woman,

You’re tired. But won’t tell anyone that you are exhausted of the adventure life is bringing you on, because they will judge you, tell you you have no reason and you will be consumed with regret.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I met you. I met you crossing the street. I smiled, but you didn’t. I didn’t take it as rude, I took it as pain and distraction.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I am you. We are all you and we must bring each other up, instead of pull each other down.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I wish I could save you. But that, that is on you. So don’t be afraid to be you.

Dear Struggling Woman,

We all have a story and no knows it better than you, so don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

Dear Struggling Woman,

I care about you.

Sincerely,

A Struggling Woman
