Empowerment

Kay understands that inspiration is key in tackling life. She states that if, “I am inspiring to at least one person [then] that is enough for me”. She aspires to inspire, allowing her readers to envelope in positivity, she states that she wants to “drive people to be inspired in creating the best version of themselves possible and to fall in love with themselves.” Inspiration is a way of appreciating and loving yourself for who you are. Which is why Kay is an advocate for such empowerment.

Kay says, “whether it’s lifting yourself up, lifting others up or just feeling like you are more powerful than before”, that is empowerment. There is this undeniable link to confidence that empowerment brings. Kay expresses that when one works for their self-confidence, they become more empowered, “levels of self-esteem, confidence, motivation and determination [begin to] skyrocket” and there is a drastic shift in mood and emotions. Kay can only describe it as feeling like she “can conquer the world.”

Passion

What makes being passionate so deep and meaningful? It has to with aspirations, dreams, and all in all personality. Passion is Kay’s drive for her own motivation and determination to tackle obstacles, barriers and even regular to-do’s. She explains, “if I wasn’t passionate then there wouldn’t be as much love and effort going into what it is your doing.” She believes that passion brings fire and it becomes a catalyst in what we do every day.

Kay cake make a lot of connections to living passionately, she explains:

“I feel I am a person who very much trusts my gut and goes with my instincts, which a lot of these are based on my passions. Anything I do I throw myself into it with everything I have, especially if it is something I am passionate about. I used to have a lot of issues with self-love, self-esteem and self-confidence and by living through my passions and learning to not care about outside opinions it makes you fall in love harder with whatever it is you are doing. I personally think if you Live Passionately it’s almost similar to putting your all into something.”

Demonstrating that passion is personal, but can be shared, inspired and motivational to others around us.

Dedication

As we have learned from Kay throughout her experiences within our series, these elements in life fall to great importance as her catalyst to succeed. That doesn’t change with the dedication that she puts in every day. She explains that dedication “goes hand in hand with motivation and determination because they are all about how much effort and love you put into something.” It is not stopping when you feel like you are going to fail, but continue pushing through to your own success, until you have made the accomplishments that you dreamed of.

She brings up that “anything in life goes with the saying ‘you get what you put in’.” Believing that although luck and privilege might give you the advantage in particular situations, you will have to use that advantage to get where you want to be. Hard work ultimately does pay off.

Kay ends the interview by saying that Empowerment, Passion and Dedication “are stepping stones to help you where you want to be”, she believes they result and happiness, success and becoming the best version of yourself that you can be.
